In the Name of Allaah, Ar-Rahmaan, Ar-Raheem...
Imaam an-Nisaa'ee, may Allaah have mercy upon him, mentioned in his book, 'Amalul-Yawm wal-Laylah, on the authority of Abu Umaamah, radhiyullaahu 'anhu, that the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "Whoever reads aayatul-kursee (2:255) at the end of every prescribed prayer (ie. five daily prayers), nothing will prevent him from entering Jannah except death."
Authenticated by Shaykh al-Albaani, Silsilatul-Ahaadeeth as-Saheehah #972 and Shaykh Muqbil declared it hassan (sound). |

In the Name of Allaah, Ar-Rahmaan, Ar-Raheem...
In defence of the followers of the Sunnah, al-Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim wrote the following lines of poetry, refuting those who reject the Qur'aan and Sunnah for what their forefathers were upon.
قالوا له خالفت أقوال الشيو ... خ ولم يبالوا الخلف للفرقان
خالفت أقوال الشيوخ فأنتم ... خالفتم من جاء بالقرآن
خالفتم قول الرسول وإنما ... خالفت من جراه قول فلان
يا حبذا ذاك الخلاف فإنه ... عين الوفاق لطاعة الرحمن
أو ما علمت بأن أعداء الرسو ... ل عليه عابوا الخلف بالبهتان
لشيوخهم ولما عليه قد مضى ... أسلافهم في سالف الأزمان
ما العيب إلا في خلاف النص لا ... رأي الرجال وفكرة الأذهان
أنتم تعيبونا بهذا وهو من ... توفيقنا والفضل للمنان
فليهنكم خلف النصوص ويهننا ... خلف الشيوخ أيستوي الخلفان
والله ما تسوى عقول جميع أهـ ... ـل الأرض نصا صح ذا تبيان
حتى نقدمها عليه معرضـ ... ـين مؤولين محرّفي القرآن
