Benefit: Knowledge Without Actions and Actions Without Knowledge

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Shaykh Ubayd ibn ʿAbdillāh al-Jābirī: "When the knowledge one possesses is contrary to his actions, then the knowledge is a proof against the servant, and such a person resembles those whose Allāh’s anger is upon, the Jews. They were called, “those whose Allāh’s anger is upon” because they did not act upon the knowledge which they possessed."

Likewise, when actions are without knowledge, ignorance and confusion enters the worship; such a person resembles the Christians because they (i.e. the Christians) worship Allāh upon ignorance and misguidance.1
