Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān's Advice to Ahl al-Sunnah In Yemen Who Are Being Fought by the Ḥūthiyūn

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Important advice and reflections from Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān

[Q]: What is your advice to our brothers from Ahl al-Sunnah in Yemen who are being fought by the Houthiyoon (Rāfidah Shīʿah)?

[A]: Upon them is to depend upon Allāh (ʿazza wa jal) and to supplicate to Allāh abundantly. They should defend themselves and their wealth according to their ability. What has afflicted them is as a result of their differing among themselves. If only they united under one banner nobody would have been able to interfere in their affairs.  However, when they split, and each one wanted what he desired, it occurred to them what you see.  Yes...  I advise them to have patience and to carry out that which is required, and from that is to come together and not be divided:

وَلاَ تَنَازَعُواْ فَتَفْشَلُواْ وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ وَاصْبِرُواْ
Do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength departs, and be patient...
[Sūrah al-Anfāl: 46]

وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاخْتَلَفُواْ
And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves...
[Sūrah Āli-ʿImrān: 105]

Should the Salafīs Cooperate in the Capturing of Takfīrists?

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Pulling the Carpet from Under the Feet of the Takfīrist Cells that Exist in the West

The Muftī of the Jīzan Province of Saudi al-ʿArabīa, Shaykh Aḥmad al-Najmī

Question:

Firstly, I love you for the sake of Allāh and I ask Allāh to preserve you just as He preserves all of His righteous servants. Here (in France), the French Government is appealing to the Salafīs for their cooperation in capturing the Takfīrists[1]. In all actuality they are requesting that we work alongside them to catch these individuals. Is this something that the religion of Islām deems permissible or not -may Allāh bless you?

Answer:

Truthfully, the Takfīrists are considered to be enemies of Islām and enemies of the Muslims as they are responsible for actions that have harmed the Muslims. It is ok for (the Muslims) to point the (authorities) in their direction and to clarify what they are upon if they are certain about these people.[2]

Should We Go to the Rahma Conference?

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Recently we have received many enquiries about the 'rahma' conference upcoming in Toronto and Edmonton, Canada. Who are the speakers? What is their ʿAqīdah (Creed) and Methodology? Who are al-itihaad and al-Itisaam and what is their connection to extremism in Somalia? Due to these questions, we have contacted some of the Ṣumālī mashaayikh and compiled information on some of the attendees in order to make the affair clear...so should I attend the 'rahma' conference or not?

Supporting a Masjid: A Communal Obligation

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
An excerpt from the a khuṭbah by Abū al-ʿAbbās Mūsá Richardson encouraging the Muslims to be vigilant in supporting their local masjid, being active in helping, using one's wealth and supporting the spread of Islām. He also cautions the listeners against speaking out against the leadership of the masājid, their financial affairs and questioning the worthiness of their positions. The evil and fitnah of these actions and how the Shayṭān intensifies in his efforts to separate the people as the community grows in size. The speaker cautions the listeners to record the statements of those who whisper doubts in to the community, to hold them accountable, to verify their claims and to admonish them for their rumour-mongering. An important reminder for every community - to busy ourselves with good and to leave of useless banter and ill-speech.

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī (رحمه الله) said: “The best season to a believer is winter. Its nights are long for those who wish to pray, and its days are short for those who wish to fast.”

The Characteristics of the Righteous Salafī Woman

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Shaykh Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar Bāzmūl (حفظه الله) stated:

It is sufficient that she safeguards her five daily prayers, fasts in Ramaḍān, takes care of herself and her husband, and looks after her house and her children. Her house is her kingdom, her husband is her prince, and her children are her subjects.
