As-Salaamu 'Alaykum,

Shaykh Rabee’ b. Hādī al-Madkhalī, may Allah preserve him, said: “We advise the Salafī youth to devote themselves to seeking knowledge, and we advise them to be diligent in keeping company with those who are righteous. [We also advise them] to beware of mixing with the people of innovation (ahl al-bid’ah), the people of doubts (ahl al-shubhah) and the people of turmoil (ahl al-fitan)…" (1)

[TN]: Benefits from this brief advice:

1. Shaykh Rabee’s general concern for the Salafī youth

2. Shaykh Rabee’s desire for the youth to seek knowledge

3. A warning from mixing with three types of people:

- the people of innovation

- the people of doubts

- the people of turmoil

Your brother in Islam,

Abū Adam Jameel Finch
