As-Salaamu 'Alaykum,

Bismillah,

Here is a book (نفحات الهدى والإيمان من مجالس القرآن) in which our Shaykh, Rabee' Ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī, may Allah protect him, explains some verses from the Qur'aan. The explanations for these verses were taken from sittings that took place during Ramaḍān in which students take turns reading the Qur'aan aloud, and then, the Shaykh explains some verses.

Additionally, every Friday, Shaykh Rabee' teaches the book "al-Maarij al-Qabool" on the topic of creed (al-'aqīdah) by: Shaykh Haafidh al-Hakamee [d. 1377 AH]. This book is full of verses from the Qur'aan. When we come to these verses, the Shaykh takes his time and explains them line for line, his eyes full of pondernece, thoughtfulness and sometimes tears.

May Allah, the Most High, make us from those who give importance to the Qur'aan, reciting, pondering and acting. And me He preserve Shaykh Rabee', and all of the scholars of the Sunnah, who take from their time to convey to us sound explanations of the speech of Allah, the Most High.

JazaakAllaahu Khayr yaa Abaa Adam

It is reported that Ibn 'Umar - Allâh be pleased with him - said, "We were the beginning [the heads] of this Ummah, and perhaps a man from the best of the Companions of Allâh's Messenger - Allâh's peace and blessings be upon him - and the most righteous amongst them could maintain only one chapter of the Qur`ân or thereabouts. For the Qur`ân was weighty upon them, and they were given knowledge of it or action based on it. But the last of this Ummah will find the Qur`ân light [and easy] - the child and the non-Arab will recite it, without possessing any knowledge about it."
