weak ḥadīth? was created by Karima238
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Brother Mūsá mentioned this ḥadīth while speaking about the fact that there was no excuse of coercion for the people of the past, however I have heard that this ḥadīth is weak. Is this correct?

On the authority of Ibn `Abbās- Radiyallaahu `anhumaa - that the Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam – said: "Verily, Allaah has pardoned me for my Ummah; their mistakes, their forgetfulness, and that which they have been forced to do under duress."
