Was Ibn Sīnā from amongst the Scholars of Islām?

  The Verdicts of al-Dhahabī, Ibn Ḥajr, Ibn Taymīyyah, Ibn al-Qayyim and others

A small collection of statements of the salaf against Ibn Sīnā, a philosopher who made many statements of kufr. Unfortunately, he is considered by some to be from the great scholars of the past. The statements of al-Dhahabī and his contemporaries suggest the opposite.

  I am not aware of him having narrated anything from the Islamic sciences, and even if he did, it would not be permissible to narrate from him because he is a perverted, deviant, philosopher.
