An Explanation of The Conditions, Pillars and Requirements of Prayer

Author: Imām Muḥammad ibn 'Abdil-Wahhāb (Explanation by Shaykh Muḥammad Amān al-Jaamee & Shaykh ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-ʿAbād)
Paperback: 248 Pages
Published: September 2007

Before you is an explanation of one of the classical works on prayer and ablution written by the Imām and Mujaddid of the 13th century, Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdil-Wahhāb, may Allāh have mercy on him. This book: “The Conditions, Pillars and Requirements of Prayer” is a brief treatise designed for easy memorization and retaining since the author lists each point briefly followed by its proof from the Qurʾān and Sunnah. The study and careful review of this classical work will give the reader a concise and general understanding of the basic fundamentals and legal rulings of ablution and prayer and produce students with firm knowledge of the core and subsidiary issues of prayer, which is the first thing we will be asked about on the Day of Judgement. It is for this reason that this classical work continues to be taught today all over the world. From among the several scholars that explained this treatise are Shaykhs Muḥammad Amān Al-Jaamee and ʿAbd al-Muḥsin Al-ʿAbbād. In an effort to bring as much benefit as possible to the English readers, both of these explanations have been translated and included in this book.

About the Authors:

Extensive biographies for each author can be found within this publication.

The Rights and Obligations Upon Men & Women in Islām

Author: Shaykh Rabīʿ Ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī (Intro. by Shaykh Saallih al-Fawzān)Paperback: 144 Pages
Published: May 2007

This new publication from the Shaykh Rabīʿ Ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī (May Allāh preserve him upon good), is an extraordinarily beneficial book. The Shaykh deals with the issue of the rights of men and women based on a seminar that was held by some women in Jedda, Saudi 'al-ʿArabīa who claimed their rights were withheld. This publication is a refutation upon those who make this claim, as well as a description of the rights given to men and women in Islām, the loftiness of women’s rights in Islām over that of those in the West, and the women of other religions such as Christianity, Judaism, and Hinduism.
We hope that these comparisons will help the reader reflect upon the blessing that Allāh has truly given us. We found it shocking to see the degradation that women of disbelief endure from the deviant ones from both their homelands and religions. The Religion of Islām is perfect, although its adherents are not. The evil that some do should not reflect upon Islām, rather it is a deficiency of an individual(s). However, we have found that the degradation and exploitation of women of disbelief is in the roots of their belief systems, and societal practices.
