Tafsīr Sūrah al-Fātiḥah
An important lesson on the explanation and meanings of the opening chapter of the Book of Allāh.
Sūrah al-Fātiḥah is the opening chapter of the Book of Allāh. We have been ordered in Allāh's Legislation to recite this sūrah in every rakʿah of ṣalāh we pray. Due to the significance of this sūrah in our lives, it is upon every Muslim to know the explanation of this illustrious sūrah. In a three-part series conducted last Ramaḍān (2011), our beloved teacher, Abū al-ʿAbbās Mūsá Richardson went through the explanation of Sūrah al-Fātiḥah, based on the works of al-Shaykh, al-'Allāmah, Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn, raḥimahullāh. Listen, may Allāh have mercy upon you, so you can learn the explanation of this great sūrah and then spread the knowledge. Remember you recite it in every prayer, its worth understanding in shāʾ Allāh!
