The Life of the Ṣaḥābiyāt
Our brother Abū Khadījah ʿAbd al-Wāḥid brings a very heart warming emotional īmān-increasing talk for both brothers and sisters to contemplate. Mā shāʾ Allāh we know very well of the statuses of the companions of our Noble Prophet Muḥammad (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), but how many of us know the statuses, virtues and lives of the Sahābīyāt: our Mothers? A must listen!
The ONLY way we'll ever achieve happiness in this life and the next is to be occupied in the worship of our Lord, as a Mu'minah we are free of the people in this Dunyā who only wish to bring us down to their filthy level. If we knew our honour and status, and the beauty of the hereafter that is awaiting us not even one Muslimah would think twice about what she wants. Ya akhwāt no woman can live up to our status, so let us work for the hereafter which Allāh Has promised us!
Fāṭimah ibnt Rasūlillah:
The best women are those who do not see the men and who are not seen by the men.
“The best of you are those who are the best to their wives, and I am the best of you to my wives.”
Narrated by al-Tirmidhī, 3895; Ibn Mājah, 1977; classed as Sahīh by Ṣāliḥ in Sahīh al-Tirmidhī.
Before our brother goes into details about the Mother of the Believers he speaks about the importance of the Muslimah, the honour of the Muslimah, how they should be treated and respected, and how to select a righteous spouse (men and women alike).
In this talk our bother Abū Khadījah talks about their lives, he speaks about the honour of our Mothers, and how they were honoured by Islām and how likewise our women are also honoured and how we should strive to be just as honourable and virtuous like them.
