Censoring the Research of Domain Specialists: A Point of Reflection
Prior to graduating from the Islamic University of Madīnah, I spent some time studying in Egypt with Shaykh Hasan ibn ‘Abdul Wahhāb (رحمه الله). On occasion, we would ask him about some individuals (jarḥ wa-al-taʿdīl), so he used to say: “Ask Shaykh Rabī.”
